The Avanis GmbH / KTI GmbH group of companies has welcomed five new trainees to its ranks since the beginning of September. This year, the specialists in active network technology are training two IT specialists for system integration, two IT system administrators, and one marketing communications specialist.
Training young talent has always been a high priority for us in the IT industry. We are continuing to grow and have a high demand for skilled workers,“ says Paul Kaiser, managing director of the two sister companies, which currently employ a total of seven trainees. He adds: ”Supporting and challenging young people is particularly important to us. We offer them a varied and thorough training program with the prospect of being hired.
One of the five newcomers is Simon Lukas. He deliberately chose to train as an IT specialist rather than pursue an academic career: “I prefer training to studying because it allows me to apply what I learn at work and vocational school immediately, rather than having to wait years to put it into practice. In my opinion, university studies, which are far removed from practical experience, do not offer any prestige advantage over vocational training.”
Avanis GmbH is one of the leading specialist distributors in the network sector. As a specialist in WLAN planning and analysis, Avanis is also a pioneer in the field of real-time localization and WLAN positioning. Under the umbrella of the Avanis Academy, the company offers training courses, workshops, and seminars in the areas of network technology and WLAN planning.
KTI Networks is one of the world's leading manufacturers of active network components. The company develops, produces, and markets high-quality switches, media converters, and products for Industrial Ethernet.
