    Ekahau CSSE Workshop – Certified Site Survey Engineer

    The aim of this 3-day seminar is to train IT administrators, technicians, and planners to perform WLAN site surveys using the Ekahau Software Suite. The course provides the necessary knowledge for efficient use of the Ekahau AI Pro/Connect software and the Ekahau Sidekick, as well as options for planning, measuring, and analyzing WLAN networks. The course concludes with the CSSE (Certified Site Survey Engineer) exam and certification.

    Workshop Contents Based on Ekahau AI Pro 11.x

    Day 1: Basics and Preparation

    • WIFI Basics
    • Basics of WIFI Standards IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax
    • Ekahau AI Pro Introduction and Installation
    • Ekahau AI Pro Usage in Practice

    Day 2: Planning and Design

    • WIFI planning and design through simulation with Ekahau AI Pro
    • Creation and use of WIFI requirement profiles
    • WIFI capacity planning taking into account transmission time utilization
    • WIFI design through pre-deployment surveys with Ekahau AI Pro

    Day 3: Analysis and Certification

    • WIFI acceptance measurements
    • WIFI analysis and troubleshooting using measurements with Ekahau AI Pro
    • Spectrum analysis and detection of spectral interference sources
    • Creation of meaningful documentation
    • Practical examples of WIFI analysis
    • CSSE certification exam
    • CSSE certification
