    Get the most out of your network: Edge-Core sets new standards with these Layer 3 Gigabit Ethernet switches. In many networks, network speed is already a limiting factor. Edge-Core's solution: six lightning-fast 25G SFP28 uplink ports and the port aggregation function. Port aggregation is a technique in which multiple physical connections are bundled into a single logical port. This enables higher bandwidth and improved redundancy in the network.

    The choice is yours: with the ECS-4650-54P, you get a switch that delivers up to 90 watts on all 48 copper ports. The device complies with all three PoE standards according to IEEE 802.3af/at/bt. A total PoE-budget of 740 watts is available! This opens up many possible applications for high-performance devices.

    The Edge Core series is ideal as an ultra-fast and reliable backbone distributor in campus networks. The series is a good choice for small to medium-sized enterprise networks as well as complex network environments in the education, research, and healthcare sectors. In the PoE version, the series simultaneously supplies connected end devices with power. VoIP phones or access points can be powered in the same way as connected cameras, alarm systems, laptops, or video IP phones.

    Don't need PoE at all? The ECS-4650-54T version does not have PoE, but retains all other functionalities.

    Both model variants offer not only outstanding performance, but also comprehensive management and security features, robust multicast controls, and advanced QoS. With support for the latest IPv6 management and security protocols, such as DHCP snooping, IP source guard, and dynamic ARP inspection, the devices are future-proof and ready for the growing demands of modern networks.
