Avanis is Fortinets „Newcomer of the Year 2017“

Düsseldorf. Great joy at Avanis GmbH in Bielefeld. At this year's Fortinet Partner Conference at the Intercontinental in Düsseldorf, the East Westphalian WLAN and network specialists received the “Newcomer of the Year 2017” award in front of around three hundred invited guests in their first year of collaboration with Fortinet. Avanis won the race for the title with attractive orders and a major project in the healthcare sector.

Another decisive factor was that Avanis was able to map the entire range of the Fortinet Security Fabric with the components used in the healthcare project: from the firewall and WLAN controller to the access point. This provided the Bielefeld-based network professionals with an exemplary application example, which was also the subject of a presentation during the breakout sessions. Avanis Managing Director Thomas Passlack and Thomas Blanke, Senior Sales Consultant at Avanis GmbH, explained the challenges and special features of the project to the audience in the customer success story “Security Fabric – A Vision Becomes Reality.” The strong focus on WLAN, taking into account aspects such as WLAN coverage and planning, made the presentation particularly interesting for many listeners.

After the Partner Awards ceremony and a get-together, this year's Fortinet Partner Conference came to a fitting conclusion with a joint evening event at a brewery in Düsseldorf.
