KTI Networks is introducing two new devices that are perfectly tailored to the needs of small and medium-sized network environments. The KGS-1021 enables straightforward network distribution for the office, including smart web management. If you want to supply power to end devices such as cameras or access points at the same time, the KGS-1020-HP is now the ideal solution. The two brand-new devices feature a solid metal housing, high-quality workmanship and perform their “job” with extreme reliability.

KGS-1021: More bandwidth for your office network thanks to LACP

This Gigabit device is now in stock at our Bielefeld location and available immediately. With its eight 10/100/1000 Mbps RJ45 ports, the KGS-1021 offers the option of connecting eight end devices to the network. PC workstations, telephones and printers can thus be easily integrated into a perfectly networked office unit. The KTI switch can be used to configure a wide range of applications via smart web management.

Whether LACP, VLAN, QoS, IGMP snooping or SNMP function: the KGS-1021 is just right for distribution, control and monitoring in the network. Thanks to LACP support, the bandwidth can be doubled: combining several ports into one logical link – link aggregation – increases the bandwidth from 1000 Mbps to 2000 Mbps and greatly expands the switch's range of applications. The KGS-1021 is also the first choice when Ethernet needs to be distributed over longer distances. Two 100/1000Mbps dual speed SFP ports for multimode or singlemode are available: connecting multiple floors or neighbouring buildings is therefore very easy.

Extremely economical to run – whisper quiet

KTI Networks stands for absolutely reliable, robust network technology. From day one, one focus of product development has been the energy efficiency of the devices. This new Gigabit switch impresses with its extremely low power consumption of a maximum of five watts. The external power supply is included. The KGS-1021 does not require a fan and can be placed on your office desk without attracting attention: the device runs absolutely silently. The desktop switch can also be mounted on the wall – a wall bracket is also included in the scope of delivery.

KGS-1020-HP: 19-inch device with 130W PoE power for cameras and other devices

With its eight PoE ports and a generous PoE budget of 130 watts, the KGS-1020-HP opens up a whole host of possibilities for network design. Practice rooms, agencies, law firms – this device is simply perfect for small or medium-sized network environments. The brand new KTI device provides up to 30 watts per port (PoE IEEE802.3af/at) at each of its eight RJ45 ports. This allows access points, IP telephones or surveillance cameras to be integrated into the network – and supplied with power at the same time.

Fibre-to-the-office? Two dual-speed SFP ports make it possible!

This new CTI switch also enables direct connection to fibre optic networks via two dual speed SFP ports. This allows connections over longer distances, making it easy to network multiple floors or remote locations. A wide variety of applications can be configured via smart web management, such as VLAN, LACP, IGMP snooping, QoS, jumbo frames, etc.

The KGS-1020-HP fits perfectly into any server cabinet. The 19-inch rack mount is included. Like the KGS-1021, the switch can be placed directly at the workplace in the office, as it is fanless and therefore also runs whisper-quiet.
